Cuyamaca 100k Training Run: Loop 1 Part 2

  • 27 Aug 2022
  • 7:00 AM
  • Green Valley Campground (Arroyo Seco Parking Area)

Start at Green Valley Campground (Arroyo Seco Parking Area). Join the course as it leaves the campground on the Pine Ridge Trail. When you reach the start/finish area at Camp Cuyamaca, run back to Green Valley on the East Side Trail (crossing the road at the Sweetwater Parking Lot bridge). Water is available at Paso Picacho (mile 14 of this route) and Camp Cuyamaca (mile 18) Once again, please stick around for refreshments and snacks! Total miles are approximately 21.

The start of each of these runs are fee areas, and you will need to pay $10 via the State Park's parking app. The East Mesa Parking area, just past the Park Boundary on Hwy 79 is not yet a fee area and would be a good place to meet for a carpool if you wanted to save $$.

We will do our best to mark the course for all of these runs, but please familiarize yourself with each route ahead of time, and bring a copy of the maps and/or turn by turn directions if you don't know the trails. All are welcome at the runs whether you are a registered runner or not. Bring your friends!
