Registration: Registration is open until December 8, as long as open spots are available

- There are only 50 spots available for entry. All RSVPs after 50 will be put on the waitlist

Course Description:
- Come enjoy a 6 hour or 12 hour journey around a looped ~1.5 mile singletrack course in the shadow of Mt. Woodson in Ramona California! This course is hosted at the wonderful residence of one of our very own SURF members. You’ll experience a punchy, winding course that navigates through boulder fields, sage brush, and the remnants of an avocado orchard. Come prepared for vert! Each lap boasts over 300’ of climbing and a refreshing pass through a well stocked aid station.
Cutoffs: 6 hours / 12 hours
Aid Station info: There will be one aid station that runners will pass through upon completing each loop.
Race day details:
- Saturday December 13, 2025
- This is a timed race of either 6 hours or 12 hours. Come and compete with your friends to see who can complete the most Lunatic Loops!
- There will be 2 start times to accommodate as many people as possible
- 8:00 am start time for the 6 hour early birds as well as the 12 hour runners
- 2:00 pm start time for the late shift 6 hour start
Race day parking and packet pick up: Please arrive 30 minutes before your race time and pick up your bib. Parking volunteers will help you park in either the driveway or on on the road.
Start location/directions: Pat and Debbie Meskell's property; 16545 Salida de la Luna, Ramona CA 92065.
- Please remember, this is a private residence and is otherwise not accessible to the public without specific permission from the owners.

- 8:00 am and 2:00 pm
Refund Policy: No refunds, transfers, or deferrals.
About the event: This is a celebration of the San Diego Ultra Running Friends community! We’re reviving a race for SURF members, hosted and organized by SURF members. This is a great opportunity to meet and make new friends in a fun, inclusive, and just a little bit competitive community. Please consider bringing your families along to hang out and cheer you on! There will be plenty of food throughout the day for runners and their friends, as well as some pickleball action on the side yard.

Food: Besides standard aid station fare, we'll be serving food throughout the day. We'll have hot and cold foods including some vegetarian and gluten free options. If you have special dietary restrictions, please consider bringing something you know you like too, just in case we don't hit your exact needs.
