The San Diego Ultra Slam is composed of four San Diego ultra events: the PCT50, SD100, Noble Canyon 50k, and Cuyamaca 100k. To be eligible for recognition, participants must complete each race in the calendar order they occur. However, you may choose whichever race you wish to start with. Each race offers a different distance and distinct challenge to the participant, and running all four within one year represents a significant achievement.
RULES & GUIDELINES:
The San Diego Ultra Slam is intended to recognize individuals who were able to successfully complete a 50k, 50 mile, 100k, and 100 mile San Diego Trail Ultra Distance (STUD) all within a 12 month period. Since all the events that comprise the Ultra Slam usually fill to limit, those who are interested in attempting the Ultra Slam need to sign up for each of the events when the races first open registration. Current SURF Members receive either a registration discount or early entry to these races - be sure to login and check the Member Benefits page for details!
ENTRY:
Anyone may participate. If you would like to join the challenge, you may declare your intention to do so by emailing admin@sdultrarunning.com, subject line ULTRA SLAM. You'll then need to ensure you register for each event separately using the links above.
FINISHERS: Upon completion of the Ultra Slam, SURF will send an email to congratulate you and get your sizing information. SURF will ship the jacket to you directly if/once the sizing is in stock. We will also celebrate you via social and email.
