For 13  years, Carola and I, with the help of several of you,  have put on a half marathon +/- trail series.  This is strictly a no frills event – no entry fee, no shirts, no swag, no timekeeping, no finish place awards, no medical, no babysitting, no nothing – just a great run someplace you might not otherwise see and some time spent on the trails with some really cool people.  While the distance is perhaps shorter than serious ultra-folks would chose, you can still use the runs as a nice training event on dirt trails and see parts of San Diego you might not otherwise see.  The only reward is dinner in  August  (date to be announced) at our home for those who finish all 3 runs.  -Todd

Directions: 17160 Stonebridge Parkway, San Diego, CA. From I-15, go east on Pomerado Road and turn right on Stonebridge Parkway. The entrance to West Sycamore is at the very east end of Stonebridge Parkway.  We'll meet at the West Sycamore Staging area. Portable toilets available.

From Highway 67 turn west on Scripps Poway Parkway, then left on Pomerado Road, then left on Stonebridge Parkway and continue until it dead ends at the main entrance to West Sycamore. We start at 8 instead of 7 because the gates only open at 8.
