You do not need a permit or pass to park here.
Picnic: All are welcome to join us for the SURF sponsored picnic after the run (approximately 11AM-2PM) at the trailhead.
Distance: 18.2 miles.
Water:  Water is available at the School Camp.  While this is the start and finish of all of the loops on race day, for this training run, it will be at mile 11.5.
Run info:  We will leave the Sunrise trailhead at 7am.  This is normally 6.8 miles into the loop and 51 miles into the race.  We will be covering miles 44.6 to the finish of the course.
See the course description page of the Cuyamaca 100k website for maps and turn by turn instructions.

At a 12 minute mile pace, this loop will take approximately 3.5 hours, and about 4.5 hours at a 15 minute pace.  If you are interested in extending the run, one option is exploring some or all of Loop 2 after reaching the School Camp.  This would add another 12.6 miles to your run and make your total very close to 50k for the day.
You are responsible for your own safety. We will not be keeping track of where runners are on the trails and we encourage you not to run alone.  If you are not familiar with the trails in Cuyamaca, please bring a map and/or a copy of the directions.
